Arundo Experts Database

Using the TAdN Experts Database

This database is a resource for anyone invloved in Arundo control and eradication or anyone who wants to begin an eradication project. The purpose of the database is to make it easy to find and contact others about all apsects of Arundo eradication work. Currently the databse is in an Excel spreadsheet. In the near future, however, it will be converted to a searchable database.

The database can be used, and searched, in its present format. You can use the Excel "Find" command to search for keywords, names, or other words. For example, you want to locate someone with a specific expertise, such as Remote Sensing.

1. Open the 49kb database and highlight the "Expertise Keyword" column.

2. Pull down the "Find" command from the Edit pull-down menu (or type ctrl-F) to open the dialog box.

3. In the dialogue box type "Remote Sensing". Excel will highlight the first row with that expertise keyword.
    To find additional entries with that keyword, click the "Find Next" command.
